There is a war silently brewing in Cooroy and each and every year this war comes to a head at Christmas in Cooroy. Businesses from the eastern side of Cooroy and businesses from the western side clash in a furious battle of Tug of War!
The Shed Cooroy will be championing the East and Cooroy Computers are proudly representing the West. The Tug of War, which has become a ritual part of Christmas in Cooroy, will consist of dedicated tuggers made up of business owners, staff, customers and residents from each side of town.
The East Side Tuggers have put on a valiant show in previous years, but will they take out the title this year? The question on everyone’s lips is which side will win? Don’t miss this clash of local legends on Saturday 1st December. The East VS West Tug Of War battle will commence at 5:30pm in Apex Park immediately after the Bendigo Bank Street Parade and Bentleys Great Santa Stroll.
If you want to represent your side of the tracks, or you have a particular talent for Tug of War, then make sure you nominate to tug for your team at either The Shed Cooroy or Cooroy Computers! The competition promises a plethora of laughter, Christmas spirit, and Cooroy pride.
